In less than a week we will land in Manaus, Brazil. Will and I booked flights to Rio de Janeiro and are extremely excited to check out the vibrant city. I hope to be able to surf, possibly hang glide, and do some solid exploring in Rio for a few days.
I'm sorry that the pictures don't seem to be working so you'll just have to make do with text but I will get pictures up as soon as possible. The Internet rarely works on the boat. I'll also throw together a quick post about the classes I'm taking as well as what the boat is like. Keep checking the blog.

Oh my gosh Dave this just seems like Heaven once over for you. I hope Andy doesn't have access to this blog or he might show up one night on the ship! I am so glad you've already gotten a chance to scuba I hope you brought some underwater casing, it would be awesome to get to see what life under the water at each port is like. I CANNOT WAIT to hear what Rio is like!!!! Take a million pictures! Thank you for all the texts Ive been getting its been very calming on my nerves lol.
ReplyDeleteFrom the San Diego side, Dyl had his first day of school today, Aaron just went to pick him up, unfortunately I missed it cuz I am bound to bed by a nasty cold. He is working hard in swim lessons and yesterday he asked his teacher if he can "surf like my daddy and uncle David" so he stood on a giant foam train while his teacher made "waves" ....he's a natural and I snapped some shots that Ill send your way. Have a blast and I hope the next 5 days at sea goes by fast!!!
